Why I built Just Us

I wanted one app on my phone where every notification, and every time I opened it, meant I was chatting with one person: my spouse. No group chats. No work pings. No noise. Just us.

Once we had that space, more of our interactions moved into it: work travel, date nights, family weekend plans. The question “What do we have going on this weekend?” now had an answer before anyone asked.

Then it became our travel companion, with flight/hotel confirmations, documents, and itineraries all in one place we could both reach.

It slowly became part of how we build our life together. We figured other couples might want the same thing, so we’re sharing it.

How a message travels

Think of a sealed letter handed to a courier who has no key. The courier gets it to the right door, but can never read it.
